The Ironmaster Cable Tower Attachment has been designed to work with our best-selling Super Bench AND Super Bench PRO to help you get more out of your home gym space without adding lots of bulky bits of kit.  It’s the perfect choice of accessory to make your Super Bench and Super Bench PRO work even harder in your home gym. It simply slots securely into the Super Bench and Super Bench PRO with the pull pin, so you can do lat pulldowns, seated rows, high pulley work, upright rows and a lot more – with just one piece of equipment.

“I just received this and the Super Bench and I am extremely happy. This has opened up dozens of new exercises that I could not do with free weights, or are improved upon by using a cable system. Overall, it is one of the best fitness purchases I have made. Highly recommended!” – Sam B.

One Cable Tower That Does It All

In a commercial gym, you’d need to move around dozens of bits of kit to get this many exercises done. But Ironmaster are experts at designing space-saving kit for home gyms. The Ironmaster Cable Attachment frees up valuable space. You can do at least 9 different exercises on it (you might be able to come up with more!) plus it stores away neatly when not in use. It’s got two wheels on the base so you can just roll it out of the way.

You won’t need to buy any extra weights, either. The Cable Tower works perfectly with Olympic weight plates, standard weight plates, or even your Ironmaster Quick-Lock Adjustable Dumbbells as the weight source. Just one more way Ironmaster can help you save space and cash as you build your home workout space.

This versatile bit of equipment has been carefully designed with space efficiency in mind. The main exercises you’ll be able to do are:

  •    Lat pull downs
  •    Tricep press downs
  •    High pulley curls
  •    High pulley cable pull
  •    High pulley rows
  •    Low pulley rows
  •    Cable curls
  •    Upright rows
  •    Straight arm shoulder raises

A Complete Home Gym Cable System

This is much more than a basic lat pulldown. The system includes as standard: the main frame, upper and lower pulley cables, Olympic Sleeve Adapters (8″ / 20 cm long), Quick-Lock Dumbbell adapter, lat pull hold down pads and a 48″ (122 cm) lat pull bar with swivel and extension chain. It has two wheels on the base so you can roll it around your gym or store it out of the way.

Please note that this cable system is designed to work with Ironmaster Super Bench and Super Bench PRO, so you will need one of those. It connects just like our other attachments with one simple pull pin that takes a couple of seconds to secure in place.

“I routinely use this attachment to perform more than 20 exercises to work the shoulders, back, arms, legs, and abs. It connects easily to the Super Bench and it can be rolled into a corner when not in use, taking up only about 3 square feet of space. Very strong and durable design.” – Jeremy P.

Heavy Duty

Ironmaster is known for producing commercial gym quality kit for home gyms. The heavy duty cable tower is ready for serious work, and the padded areas are comfortable and hard-wearing. The system can take weights up to 250 lbs (115 kg). That’s what you’d expect to find on commercial cable systems at traditional gyms. But unlike some commercial gym cable systems, the cable path here doesn’t give you any mechanical advantage. Get ready to lift some true weight!

Smooth Movement

When you start adding weight to your lat pulldown and seated row, you need to know that your cable attachment can keep up with you. Somehow, plate loaded always feels better than pin loaded don’t you think? The Ironmaster Cable Tower feels smooth, solid, and reliable as you add serious weight. Some reviewers actually say it feels better than commercial lat pulldowns in major gyms.

Great Value

This isn’t just a lat pull down. It offers you the chance to do seated rows, high cable pull works, curls and much more. Like so many bits of Ironmaster kit, it condenses multiple bits of gym equipment into one to save you money and space.

“Just an excellent must have. I absolutely love this design. Very well made, and takes your home gym to another level. I use it every day, and have had no issues. I use it with the quick lock Dumbbells, and will add plates throughout an exercise to increase difficulty. I absolutely love lats and rows with this thing. If you don’t buy any other accessory for your super bench, I strongly suggest you get this. Especially with space limitations, you can’t beat it.” – Martin B

Cable Tower V2 Attachment

  1. ive recently had to scale down my gym as i needed the space which meant i had to let my power rack and lat attachment go. i already had the super bench so i thought i would give this a go, mainly because of its compact size, but to be honest i wasnt expecting it to be too crash hot on perfomance. I expected it to be a bit unstable with a jerky motion but boy was i wrong. its as solid as a rock with no rattle or shakes and the motion is beautifully smooth no matter how much weight you pile on. i wuld go so far as to say possibly the smoothest motion i have used. Great buy

  2. Excellent for Limited Spaces I purchased this as an add on a little over a year ago. It has been used fairly heavily over this time with no issues at all. I mostly use it for lats (pull-downs) and rows using the dumbbell weight option. I have a limited workout space, so the small footprint of this bench add-on, and versatility of weight options has been absolutely great. This is a strong and durable item, and was well worth my investment. Highly recommended!!

  3. Must-Have Attachment I routinely use this attachment to perform more than 20 exercises to work the shoulders, back, arms, legs, and abs. It connects easily to the superbench and it can be rolled into a corner when not in use, taking up only about 3 square feet of space. Very strong and durable design. Overall, I’m very happy with this product. A couple of small downsides: the thigh pads are not easily adjustable once set and the cable has a tendency to come off of the lower pulley after completing a set.

  5. Excellent product with a few minor issues. I just received this and the Super Bench and I am extremely happy. This has opened up dozens of new exercises that I could not do with free weights, or are improved upon by using a cable system.

The manual could use some improvements and the slide rail was bent in slightly at one end and needed to be fixed in order to complete assembly. Overall, it is one of the best fitness purchased I have made. Highly recommended!

  6. This is an unbelievable cable tower attachment. I’ve only had it for around two weeks but already i’ve added other bar and rope attachments to it allowing me to perform so many different exercises. It is so sturdy and easy to add/change weights. This is highly recommended to anyone who has the super bench and quick-lock dumbbells.

  7. The best home gym bench cable attachment I’ve ever used. Very smooth and silent carriage operation. Resistance is true to load due to position of pulleys. Very sturdily built. Load capacity is on-par with stand alone lat stations if not better. Highly recommended.

  8. Ive had my cable tower for about a year now so it’s time for a review, I have to say that the attachment feels as good as any commercial lat pull down I’ve used with the same weight capacity as well as very smooth carriage, dare I say smoother than roller bearings on commercial kit . The only slight niggle is the leg pads adjustment as it takes a little time to adjust, but that’s not a deal breaker, I also think the safety spring could be raised an inch to allow more clearance under heavy loads as its near the limit of compression even with the cable tension nice and tight, all in all still a fantastic purchase and fantastic company and a must for your super bench. 9. This tower is a great piece of equipment for high/low pulley work. I was skeptical at first on its stability and fluidity using commercial equipment most of my life. For a piece of home equipment I was blown away on how well it works in all aspects and its great build quality. Very fluid motion with very simplistic operation that yields a true 1:1 ratio of weight. Add in the plethora of add-ons, possibilities are endless. A must buy for any cable work if you own the IM ecosystem.

  10. Fantastic product. I only use the Olympic sleeve attachment, as I prefer to use my plates for the weights. Took about 90-120 minutes to put together, but I like to takes things slow and steady. I have never put a pulley system together, but was not difficult at all. Instructions (along with exploding diagram) are accurate and helpful. One Tip, I would recommend separating all the bolts/nuts/washers into groups and label. Makes it easier to know if you’ve missed a step or part! The Lat tower itself is extremely sturdy. I have been using commercial gyms for 10+ years…this feels very similar. The footprint is amazingly small. For ROM, I’m 5’9”..so no problem. I could see someone that is over 6 feet having some possible limited ROM on the lat row.The finish coating is great. I highly recommend the tower seat, instead of using up your super bench.

  11. This is an amazing addition to the super bench. This has opened up a lot more exercises for my home gym!! ++++

  12. I received the cable tower about a month ago. Very easy to put together, very well made and sturdy. I bought the seat also and use my standard weight plates. Found the silicone spray that Iron Master recommends at a local auto parts store. Very smooth action. I would recommend it to anyone wanting to add to home gym.

  13. What a great cable tower, I bought the bench attachment for it too. It frees up my IM2000. Easy to roll around when space is an issue. The action is smooth and you can wedge your knees under the knee stopper so you can pull some heavy weights

  14. Very light weight and easy to move around in my small garage. I’ve used this with my bench and it works well. I recently purchased the standalone seat and that works well although I can’t get the tower + the seat to sit completely flat. There’s just not enough adjustment. Other than that, I love this thing.

  15. I have had this cable tower attachment for around 2 weeks now and my expectations were certainly exceeded. This is a rock solid unit that glides smoothly. Assembly was pretty straight forward although the directions were lacking a bit but if you have any common sense you’ll be able to figure it out.

A few cons: the olympic sleeve adapters feel a little cheap. Getting the super bench attached onto the unit can be a bit cumbersome.

The pros certainly outweighs the cons though!

  16. Overall great addition to my setup. The pulley mechanism is smooth and feels solid, on par with high end, gym-quality equipment. Assembly was easy, the directions are detailed and straightforward. The welds are perfect, everything lines up the way it’s supposed to with supporting equipment, and no pieces were missing or floating around in the packaging. I’ll always spend a bit more for integrity in production, and am pleasantly shocked to have found a company committed to these principles. I use this attachment for various pull downs, which it’s perfect for. My only issue is that I’d like a bit of additional height for a greater range of motion; Standing exercises are tricky, because I’m taller with proportionally long arms. I’m planning to experiment with a raised platform setup to give myself a little more range of motion. If Ironmaster designs something like this, I’ll be all over it. Even with the height limitations, this is the best compact cable system I found in this price range. If you’re on the fence, go for it.

  17. This is super high-quality sturdy equipment not only is it quality but it actually works amazingly good. I use this to do lat pull downs tricep extensions rows and curls. Super compact must have peace. Like I stated before if you’re going to get gym equipment this is the number one choice. High-quality materials quality workmanship engineered to perfection.

  18. Ironmaster Cable Tower = Commercial Gym
It wasn’t until I got the cable tower that I really felt like I had a commercial gym as my home gym.

  19. The PERFECT Home Gym Cable Machine
VERY high quality, the entire machine is super sturdy and the cables feel buttery smooth. Ironmaster really understand the importance of high quality home gym equipment that doesn’t take up too much room. Setup instructions are easy and straight forward. My only complaint is that some of the parts had minor damage on it such as big scratches and slightly bent plastic. They don’t affect the machine at all during workouts but it does bug the aesthetics. Overall a solid 5/5 and would recommend to anyone with a home gym.

  20. Amazing design and value
I’ve wanted to do lat pull downs since moving to my home gym 4 years ago. But being in a basement with 88” ceilings and trying to limit my footprint so the family has storage space seemingly made that impossible.

Enter Ironmaster. Not only is this one of the few options that would even fit its
    1. The cheapest
    2. The easiest to maneuver
    3. The heaviest “weight stack”
    4. The smallest footprint
    5. The easiest and fastest to assemble

I love that I can stick it in a corner where it improves the aesthetics of my drab basement, then roll it onto my platform to do almost any cable exercise I could do at a commercial gym with the same weight and comparable smoothness.

The only thing I wish were “improved” is the included lat bar. I dunno why perfectly good knurl is covered by cheap rubber grips but hey-it’s still as nice as most commercial gym lat bars.

Also, fwiw, I’m almost 6’ and very easily get full stretch with the super bench pro. I think you’d have to be freakishly tall and/or proportionated not to. Like everything I own from Ironmaster it’s a very thoughtful design.

  21. I am happy with the Quality of the Products, the Iron Master Cable Tower Attachment was a little different to what I was expecting by the Photo’s I saw on the Website, but I must say it’s better than I was expecting, I thought I would have to change cables from high too low pulleys, its much easier with the design change.

  22. This thing is great. Really puzzled by how well it feels to use considering it’s so so lightweight. I’ve always wanted a lat tower solution for my home gym, which is in an upstairs bedroom, needed something light. This is the solution and I’m so happy with it. Well worth the cost for the manoeuvrability and somehow feels as good as an old school lat pull-down at a gym. Probably because it’s a one to one cable and is the true weight of the stack you have loaded, unlike the other ones on sale with two to one, which in my opinion is rubbish in comparison to one to one. Clever engineering, its been kept simple and works much better than your expecting.
Great tower, great company to do business with aswell.
Comes double boxed and really well packaged.
