Makes a sturdy utility bench
I’ve been hoping IM would begin making this again for a while now. This makes for a very sturdy utility bench, no wobble at all. Ideal for seated military presses or overhead dumbbell extensions. I can get a full ROM now without the bottom of the dumbbell hitting the top of the bench. For me this makes it much more comfortable doing seated military presses, as I can lean my head back as the bar is coming down.

Great and Useful
Built solid and works great. I actually use it more for other things than intended. I train people and it’s great to have this close in front of a cable machine with multiple handles and have people push their feet into the normal bench feet to brace themselves. The bench in a normal upright position makes that a little complicated. Also great for chest supported rowing movements because you’re a lot closer to the cable and don’t have to figure out a way to extend the handles to reach it while still sitting down. It’s of course great for what it’s intended for as well. Everything they make is great!

Awesome attachment
Another great attachment from Ironmaster. I emailed them a couple years ago with this exact concept, hoping they’d fabricate something one day…well, they delivered! Solid piece and works great as an upright seated position. Definitely one of my favorite attachments. Thank you!

This addition is fantastic for Seated over head pressing, and have found it works great while doing over head dumbbell tri extion. Assembles nicely with 8 bts securely holding the pad in, connecting to the usual mechanics in the bench, holds nicely and solid no wobbling

Received the new Seat Pad this morning and have tried it out. I was unsure if it would be that useful but having tried it I am delighted with it! Definitely enhances the bench’s capabilities and better for overhead presses than the bench/seat attachment combo. It’s the perfect size for your back to give support but doesn’t interfere with the pressing movement. Usual top notch Ironmaster quality. Love it!

Received this a few days ago, I purchased it as a chest support for cable rows on my functional trainer, inclining the bench a stop or two also provides me with enough resistance to perform a high cable row/pulldown, it worked well for DB or cable tricep extensions and cable pullovers/presses/flys on my functional trainer.
The pad itself is well made and durable, 8 bolts connect the pad to the connection bar to ensure it sits squarely in place, when connected to my IM Pro bench there is no wobble, In use it feels well balanced and robust.
