The Ironmaster Cable Tower and IM2000 are incredible bits of kit for home gyms, but did you know you can make them work even harder for you? If you want to extend your range of motion during seated rows, the Low Row Foot Plate is exactly what you’re after.
We think this Ironmaster Attachment is one of our most underrated pieces of gym equipment. It needs more recognition! The Low Row Foot Plate has been ticking the boxes for many Ironmaster customers. Will you be joining them?
Why use the Low Row Foot Plate?
Ironmaster, an industry leader in home strength training equipment, is constantly striving to produce the best, hard-wearing equipment, guaranteed to last you a lifetime. We think you should only have to buy home gym kit once. So why settle for anything less than the best?
Larger Foot Plates For Comfort
We understand that comfort is essential when you’re training. The discomfort should come from your muscles, not from your kit! The Low Row Foot Plate design lets you concentrate on getting the most out of your workout. It features 15cm x 23cm foot plates with a thick black textured finish to keep you secure whilst rowing.
Fast to Fit, Simple to Use
Simply plug the foot plate into the low pulley frame of the Cable Tower or the IM2000 self-spotting machine – it gives you up to 15cm longer pull on cable rows. The quick set up design means you get more from your workout time, with the confidence that nothing will wobble or come loose. Focus on what’s important – your training. This is equipment you can rely on.
Exercises to try with your Low Row Foot Plate
V-Bar Seated Cable Rows
Train your middle back and lats with this exercise. Fit the Low Row Foot Plate to either the IM2000 Smith Machine or the Cable Tower, add the required weight and sit on the floor with your feet on the plate and your legs slightly bent (not locked). Lean forward, keeping your back straight, and grab the V-bar handle.
With your arms extended, pull back until your body forms a 90 degree angle with your legs. Keeping your chest out and your back slightly arched, you will feel a stretch in your lats as you hold the bar in front of you in the starting position. Keep your torso stationary and pull the V-bar towards you until it touches your abdomen while squeezing your back muscles. Slowly return to the starting position and repeat.
Straight Bar Seated Cable Rows
Perform the same movements as above, but use either a pronated grip (palms facing down) or supinated grip (palms facing up) with a straight bar.
