Harry Barnes wrote on Google★ ★ ★ ★ ★Recently upgraded to Ironmaster’s Super Bench Pro v2, as I needed a high-quality bench that also “filled the gaps” in my home gym set up (leg extensions, leg curls, etc.). The quality—of both the bench and the attachments—is incredible. I can’t recommend it all enough. Strong, reliable, and feels as stable as any commercial equipment I’ve used. You won’t be disappointed.
FAQs: SUPER BENCH PRO V2
What is the weight capacity of the Super Bench PRO V2?
The Super Bench PRO V2 is built to handle serious lifting, with a 1,000 lb (≈450 kg) capacity in the flat position and 600 lb (≈270 kg) in incline or upright positions. Constructed from ultra-strong 11 & 12 gauge steel with a textured black powder-coated frame and a high-density, new grippy vinyl pad, it delivers maximum stability, comfort, and confidence for every workout.
Does the bench require assembly?
Most of the bench comes pre-assembled, so setup is quick and hassle-free. You only need to attach the feet using simple tools, and the dual-position incline seat plugs in easily. With the patented laser-cut locking ring and foot lever adjustment, you can be ready to train in just minutes.
Is the Super Bench PRO V2 compatible with all attachments?
The PRO V2 is fully compatible with most Ironmaster Super Bench attachments. All accessories with /PRO in the name work perfectly. If you’re unsure, please don’t hesitate to ask, Ironmaster customer service can confirm compatibility!
What makes the PRO V2 different from the original Super Bench?
The PRO V2 improves on the original with a lower flat height for stability, standard wheels and handle for easy movement, a wider base and larger foot tubes, and an enhanced locking system with separate pull pin and corner tightening knob for faster, more secure attachment. Combined with its new grippy vinyl pad and laser-etched locking ring, it delivers better comfort, precision, and versatility, making it the ultimate bench for home or professional gyms.
SUPER BENCH PRO V2
The Super Bench PRO V2 takes everything lifters loved about the original and refines it for even greater stability, comfort and usability. Built for serious home training and strong enough for light commercial use, this is a bench designed to stay with you for the long haul.
Engineered for Serious Strength Training
The Super Bench PRO V2 uses a precision-cut steel frame, welded reinforcements, and a wide support base to ensure rock-solid stability. Whether you're pressing heavy dumbbells, performing incline flyes, or using attachments, the bench remains stable and supportive at every angle.
Fast, Secure Adjustments at Any Angle
The patented foot-lever system allows smooth, one-handed angle adjustments. Simply lift with your foot to change between 11 positions ranging from deep decline to fully upright. No awkward ladder systems or complicated adjustments - just fast, intuitive movement that keeps your training flowing.
Designed for Comfort, Built for Power
The bench height has been optimised for pressing performance, allowing solid leg drive and proper biomechanics. The reinforced cushion design keeps its shape over time, while the upgraded upholstery prevents slipping even during high-effort sets.
Maximum Versatility in Minimum Space
Thanks to its compact frame and upright storage option, the Super Bench PRO V2 is ideal for home gyms, garage gyms, and spare-room setups. Despite its small footprint, it performs like a commercial bench, and with attachments, offers functionality that even large gyms struggle to match.
A Bench That Evolves as Your Training Does
Whether you're lifting dumbbells or integrating full-body work with attachments, the Super Bench PRO V2 adapts to your programme. Start with the bench, add attachments as needed, and expand into a complete training system - all with the sturdy foundation of Ironmaster engineering.

I had my eyes on this bench for a while to replace one that was too long and heavy for moving in and out of my rack in a single garage gym regularly when swapping between benching/squatting and making space for deadlifts. The only thing that stopped me buying sooner (and missing out on a couple of even bigger discounts during sales) was the seat, it's mentioned in almost every review you see online. I finally bought one after being willing to compromise on the seat for the portability benefits and wish I had done sooner, I bench at inclines of 30 degrees or higher and the seat doesn't cause me any issues personally, below this I probably wouldn't even bother using it at all, flat benching is much better than my old one with having no gaps. Pad is a good width and a nice firmness, also due to the tilt mechanism there is good clearance at the back when using it in a chest supported position for curls, DB rows etc. I am 6'2" and find it a good length for me but any taller and I think you would be borderline on needing the head extension piece. It's also sturdier built than it looks in photos on the website, came well packaged and delivered overnight. Have also now ordered the crunch and dip attachments after being so impressed with the bench itself.
I first became aware of this thanks to a well known youtuber, and loved the idea of the versatility and expandability with all the attachments. I'd just moved house, the garage was full of stuff so I didnt have much room to work with, so I wanted something small, and light enough for my wife to use in the future. So this bench seemed like a great choice, and in the end I paired it with some adjustable dumbbells (from another company). Five months later and I have no regrets. The bench is absolutely solid and I love using it, I use it for all kinds of dumbbell work and I got the crunch attachment to go with it so I can do decline work. It's suprisingly sturdy and I say that at 6ft and 90kg. Any taller than 6ft and you might be entering "head hanging off the end" territory, but at 6ft I am well fitted to the bench. The only marginally negative thing about it is the fixed 90 degree seat attachment which comes with it, which honestly I thought would be a bit uncomfortable for incline work, but as it turns out it is perfectly fine.
Took the plunge and decided to buy the v2 super bench.
All I can say is wow, the bench surpassed my expectations and I am seriously impressed by the design and manufacture of this bench.
A good bench should be well made, sturdy, easily adjustable, comfortable and easy to move around should you need too…..The v2 is all of those things.
Absolutely zero flex or wobble which compared to other benches I have used is a revelation and speaks volumes for the manufacturing of this product. I really can’t fault how sturdy this bench is.
For what you are getting I think the price is bang on
I really have no negatives to speak of
Highly highly recommend
I’ve been using the Ironmaster Super Bench Pro V2 for a week or so, together with the sit up attachment and the dip bar.
I love this bench. Lightweight and easy to move even without using the wheels, all the angles you need for any incline work, the ability to decline with the sit up attachment, which can also be used for leg raises (as well as great place to put your back foot for Bulgarian lunges). Dip bar feels secure and attaches easily.
The ability to change seat position makes seated shoulder presses and chest supported rows feel excellent (with chair in its highest position). And having a completely flat bench with no gap when flat pressing etc is a good bonus.
Seriously impressed with this bench. Delivery of the product was of similarly high standard, the couriers they use (APC?) were professional and the guy helped me carry the main bench up to my first floor. Packaging was on point for all the parts and assembly simple.
Very impressed, will look forward to ordering the leg attachment at a future date.

First impression - Excellent!!!
Ironmaster as company
- customer service - above & beyond
- called them to find out some details about incoming shipment and one of the founders called me back ASAP.
- I was not only given all the info required, but also got offered a unit from reserve stock, if I wished to proceed with the purchase
- when Black Friday sale started I called again to see if a collection would be an option, and again they treated me with respect and were open to make an exception for me
Superbench Pro V2

Will update this review after a couple of months of use.
P.S. excellent customer service level was such a nice surprise after a disastrous experience with another similar UK company
Congratulations Ironmaster!
I’ve had two super bench pros and this new V2 is even better! Absolutely a top quality bench! I mean c’mon, I’ve bought 3 of them! Either they’re very well built or I’m a fool!
You can’t go wrong, most versatile bench I’ve ever had!
Great bench
I ordered my super bench pro V2 as soon as I was notified they were available. Worth every penny. Got the crunch situp, preacher curl, and hyper core attachments with it. All pieces are top notch. Hyper core was spendy but still a great addition.
