Information & Policies

Returns Policy

We want you to feel confident when purchasing from IronmasterUK. Our equipment is built to last, and we stand behind its quality. Please read the information below carefully to understand how returns and warranties are handled.

30-Day Returns

All returns must be authorised by IronmasterUK prior to being sent back. You may return eligible equipment within 30 days of receipt. To request authorisation, please email us with your order details.

Return Conditions

  • The cost of return postage, packaging and insurance is the responsibility of the customer.
  • Goods must be returned in perfect condition and in their original packaging.
  • The original delivery cost will be deducted from your refund.
  • A copy of your invoice or a note including your name and contact details must be included in the return.

We recommend ensuring your return shipment and using a signed-for service.

Packaging Requirements

Due to the weight and construction of strength equipment, careful re-packing is essential.

  • All original boxes, internal plastic bags and separators must be used.
  • Hardware should be secured together in a bag or taped safely to prevent movement.
  • Weight plates must be securely boxed with strong packaging tape.
  • Loose parts must be fixed in place to prevent damage during transit.
  • Tape must not be applied directly to metal or painted parts, as residue can cause cleaning or refinishing issues.
  • The original box must not be excessively taped, tampered with, labelled, or damaged, as this may render the product unsellable.

If original packaging is missing or you are unsure how to re-pack safely, please contact us before returning your item.

Condition & Restocking Fees

Items returned without original packaging, with missing components, or showing damage due to inadequate packaging may incur a refurbishment or replacement charge. This will be deducted from your refund and will be a minimum of 15%.

Light signs of inspection or careful handling are expected and will not incur a fee.

Refunds are processed to your original payment method within 2–3 working days of inspection at our warehouse.

Faulty or Damaged Items

If your item arrives damaged or develops a fault:

  • Email us with photos and a description of the issue.
  • Proof of purchase will be required.
  • We will assess and either:
    • Arrange free collection
    • Provide remedial advice
    • Arrange repair or replacement

If collection is arranged:

  • Items must be securely packaged.
  • Goods must be available for collection within 24 hours of confirmation.
  • If the item is not ready when the carrier arrives, a re-collection charge may apply.

If, upon inspection, the item is found not to be faulty, it may be returned to you and carriage charges will apply.

If proof of purchase cannot be provided, we reserve the right to charge for repairs.

PayPal Pay in 3 Returns

If you paid using PayPal Pay in 3:

  • If your refund exceeds your remaining balance, the surplus will be refunded to your PayPal account.
  • If your refund is less than your remaining balance, the remaining instalments will be adjusted accordingly.

For questions about PayPal instalments, please contact PayPal Customer Services directly.

Shipping and Delivery

Shipping Information

We aim to dispatch all orders quickly and efficiently from our UK warehouse, ensuring your equipment reaches you safely and without delay.

Dispatch Timeframes

Orders are typically dispatched within 1–2 working days.

Expected delivery is between 2–5 working days from the date your order is placed.

During particularly busy periods, dispatch times may be slightly extended. We always aim to keep you informed.

Orders are processed Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays.

Shipping Costs

Shipping is £4.94 to mainland UK addresses.

The following postcode areas may incur a surcharge, including but not limited to:

BT, HS, IV, AB, PH, PA, DD, KW, G and offshore locations.

Any applicable surcharge will be calculated and displayed at checkout.

Shipping Methods

The shipping method is determined by the size and weight of your order. Due to the nature of heavy-duty strength equipment, different courier services are required.

We use:

  • APC for parcel deliveries
  • A pallet freight network for large or heavy items

The shipping method cannot be selected manually.

Orders Sent via APC (Parcel Service)

  • Next working day service after dispatch
  • Delivery between 8am and 4pm
  • Signature required
  • Tracking details provided by email
  • Rescheduling available directly with APC
  • Collection from local APC depot may be possible

Delivery timeslots cannot be provided.

Orders Sent via Pallet Freight

Large or heavy items will be shipped via a kerbside pallet service.

This allows us to safely transport commercial-grade equipment while maintaining competitive shipping rates.

  • We will contact you to arrange a delivery date.
  • The delivery window is typically between 7am and 7pm.
  • Delivery is kerbside only.
  • Pallets are not removed by the courier.

You are responsible for moving goods from the ground floor delivery point into your property.

Delivery Information

Because much of our equipment is heavy and substantial, it is important that delivery access is suitable before ordering.

Please read the following carefully.

Delivery Address Requirements

Orders must be delivered to the cardholder’s registered billing address unless agreed with us in advance.

If you require delivery to an alternative address, please contact us prior to ordering. Additional verification may be required.

Restricted Access

You must inform us of any access restrictions before dispatch.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Steps or stair access
  • Narrow lanes
  • Tight bends
  • Steep driveways
  • Low hanging trees or obstacles
  • Limited vehicle access

If access restrictions are not disclosed and delivery fails as a result, carriage charges will remain the responsibility of the customer.

Kerbside Deliveries

Pallet deliveries are made to the kerbside only.

Drivers are not insured to:

  • Enter your property
  • Move equipment indoors
  • Carry goods upstairs

If you live in a block of flats, delivery will be made to the ground-floor entrance only.

Please ensure you have suitable assistance available on the day of delivery.

Refused Deliveries

If delivery is refused, or if equipment cannot be delivered due to size restrictions at your property, you will be responsible for both outward and return carriage costs.

We strongly recommend checking product dimensions before ordering. If you require boxed dimensions, please contact us.

Checking Your Delivery

When your order arrives:

  1. Count all packages.
  2. Inspect for visible damage.
  3. Compare with the delivery note.

If there are missing items or visible damage:

  • Note it clearly on the delivery note.
  • Cross out “Delivered in good condition”.
  • Inform us within 48 hours.

Signing without noting damage confirms receipt in good condition.

This does not affect your statutory rights regarding faulty goods.

Delivery Date Requests

You may request a preferred delivery date in the checkout comments section.

The date must be at least three working days after ordering.

While we will do our best to accommodate requests, however, please note that specific delivery dates cannot be guaranteed.

If you choose PayPal Pay in 3:

  • Your agreement is directly with PayPal.
  • Instalments are managed by PayPal.
  • Any refund will be processed back to PayPal and adjusted against your instalment plan accordingly.

About Us

Founded in 1978, Ironmaster has been at the forefront of innovative strength training equipment for over four decades. As a family owned business based near Seattle, USA, the company has built its reputation on precision engineering, patented designs and uncompromising build quality.

Ironmaster specialises in heavy duty, light commercial grade home gym equipment built for people who train properly. This is equipment designed to feel solid, perform flawlessly and last for years, not just seasons.

More than 30% of Ironmaster’s global business comes from repeat customers and word of mouth. That kind of loyalty is earned. From dedicated home gyms to military bases, Ironmaster equipment is trusted to handle real weight and real training without compromise.

Every product is designed and engineered in the USA by people who actually use it themselves. The goal has always been straightforward: create the strongest, most reliable and intelligently designed home strength equipment available, then keep refining it.

We brought Ironmaster to the UK and Europe in 2008, and today it can be found in thousands of homes across the country. What began as Valley Fitness became IronmasterUK in 2017, after nearly a decade as the exclusive UK retailer.

If you want to build your home gym properly and invest once in equipment that grows with you, you are in exactly the right place.
