PREACHER ATTACHMENT FOR SUPER BENCH/PRO

Saw this in stock and had to buy, so glad I did, easy assemble, and so sturdy, always done preach curls with the pro bench in a higher angle but the bracket has always been in the way so never 100% comfortable, this tho is outstanding, pad is so thick and sturdy foam feels as good as the bench pads. Hook for barbell/bar etc is in the perfect place I notch it up to 2nd or 3rd angle and it holds the bar attached to the pulley perfect, so securt, never thought it'd be this good but its iron master so should of known it'd be a home run!! Great buy!!

Overall very sturdy, width of the padding is very good.

The part that holds the bar needs to be thicker and wider. I would like to be able to load plates onto the EZ bar while it rests on the preacher curl attachment. The sizing and placement also makes it difficult to grab the preacher bar closer to the middle of the bar (without having to re-adjust the positioning of my hands during the first rep of the exercise).

Just what i needed. I like the wider pad for variable elbow placement to target various muscles.

Received my attachment and was eager to use it. It was very easy to assemble as well as to utilize with my bench. Sturdier than I thought. Overall experience was fantastic, easy install and product better than anticipated.

Great addition to the bench pro and easy way to make a complete home gym along with the other accessories. 5 stars all day

This is an excellent attachment. I hesitated a lot before buying it based on mixed reviews I had read on Internet. I'm working out with olympic barbells and EZ bars and the pins would not work safely. However, having a squat stand with spotter arms, these works perfectly to hold the bar so I can pick it up and do my sets. Otherwise, positioning and ROM feels perfect. I'm 6' and the positionning is perfect for me. One of the biggest advantages of Ironmaster products, beside high quality, is space saving. I'm working in my home gym, a small room in the basement, and there is no way I could have a dedicated preacher curl bench in there. The Ironmaster attachment is convenient, high quality and provide great variety in training. Could not be happier with this item.

Very well build, the Preacher Curl pad attaches firmly into the bench. padding is great as well.

Big Arms
Lots of room and padding for a great preacher curl. Easy to install and remove during workouts and adjustable to get that perfect angle. Can't go wrong with this one.

I love this more than I though I would. The angles works great to really hit the biceps and I like using it as a back rest to do overhead triceps extensions with a curl bar. Using the bench in an upright position doing those, the bench would get in the way and using the Preacher curl attachments helps. I also like that the preacher curl attachment fits perfectly on the accessory tree and doesn't take up a lot of space. I love mine.

Very solidly built unit. Use it with my IM2000 for cable curls and also when I do military press I use it as back support to lean my back to it.

Excellent preacher pad with plenty of adjustability. I solely use this with the cable tower with an EZ-curl/or single handle attachment, works great. I can see how it may not be the best using a free weight bar due to the close spacing of the racking system. Unit is solid and comfortable and works flawlessly with the docking curl support.

This is another great product from Ironmaster that I've owned and used thoroughly for 6 years. The preacher pad can be set to three different angles to target different areas of the bicep. Each preacher pad angle is set with a heavy duty, thick pin. Additionally, you can also play with different angles on the Super Bench with this attached to give you even more customisation options. Once the preacher pad is attached to the Super Bench firmly, there is no wobble or movement. The pad on the preacher pad will also take a beating (after 6 years of usage, mine doesn't have a single crack nor has the pad flat spotted anywhere). The width of the preacher pad is quite good as both close and wide grip curls can be done comfortably. My only critcism is that I would have made the barbell holder wider as I prefer to use EZ and Super EZ curl bars instead of flat bars. I've since upgraded to the dedicated Barbarian Preacher Curl machine, however this attachment is still used frequently for cable preacher curls (due to being able to move the Super Bench over to the lower cable and pulley).

A great add-on attachment to the superbench. Clips on easily and feels solid when you're using it. The little hooks which hold the bar for you are also really useful. You can also alter the angle of the pad which comes in handy. Great delivery and post-sales service from James and the team as always.

Perfect compliment to the bench. Well designed, well thought out and easy and comfortable to use. If you own the bench you should also own the preacher curl attachment. It's equal in quality to the outstanding Ironmaster bench.

I purchased this preacher curl attachment from Ironmaster directly last month and am pleased to report that I am impressed with its quality and versatility. Although I have yet to use the preacher curl attachment with barbells or dumbbells, I have have been using it to perform cable isolation curls. The preacher attachment is sturdy, well constructed, and I think a nice feature to have in a home gym system. The preacher attachment has the right amount of cushioning, and is capable of three different angle adjustments for versatility. I have yet to be disappointed with any of the Ironmaster products I have purchased, and highly recommend this product to any individual who wishes to build upon his/her Ironmaster home gym system. I think the Ironmaster products are the best of the near-commercial quality gym products on the Internet.

Using the preacher curl attachment with the bench in an inclined position makes it very comfortable to work with. The bar rack could extend a bit farther, but it still works well enough. With the bench inclined, it is easy to stand a bit and lower the bar without feeling like you have to hyper-extend your arms to return the bar to the rack. I give it five stars because of its versatility. The whole bench system, while short of commercial grade, represents both a tremendous value and space saver.

I'm interested in buying Version 2 Like reviewer Jonathan Brady mentioned, I would love to have a decent preacher curl add-on to the Super bench, but this one's supports look flimsy and unstable. The whole thing looks great except for the part that holds the bar. It needs to be thicker and wider. I would like to be able to load plates onto the EZ bar while it rests on the preacher curl attachment. Thanks for all this great equipment Ironmaster - I'm loving my new home gym!
