    My girlfriend has asked me for years to make a home gym, but I always thought it was silly for us, since we lived 1 block away from a major gym with everything I could ever need. Then COVID came, and I soon realized the wisdom she had (and had a few I-told-you-so moments as well lol). It took a while, but once I was able to get my hands on the IM-2000, I quit my gym and embraced the garage gym life. Quite frankly, it is so much better. First off, I was able to assemble the IM-2000 by myself in a couple of hours. It is well engineered, and the instructions are very easy to follow. It would definitely be easier with two people, but it is manageable even alone with some creativity. The cage itself is super efficient. It has just about everything you would need, high and low cable pulleys, integrated weight racks, smith machine, spotting arms, J cups, pull up bars, band attachments, land mine attachment, and a few more things I'm missing. It's been a few months for me now, and I'm loving it. I have used every part of the IM2000 (I got just about every add-on), and they all work wonderfully well. I had some heavy lifts to failure that the spotting arms did their job well with no problems and earned their keep. The Smith machine portion of the IM2000 works great as a calf raise machine. Pull ups, dips, lat pull downs, rows, all work smoothly. Switching out attachments is quick and easy. I have found working out at home to save me a lot of time, and I haven't had to compromise my workouts in the slightest thanks to the ingenuity of the Ironmaster team. The fact that they fit so much functionality in such a small footprint with top quality construction, great pricing. Thank you!

    Best Machine on the Market This machine is amazing! It allows me to get all my workouts in right at home without taking up too much space. If you are looking for a machine that does everything you need this is it. My home gym is now complete thanks to my IM2000. The Ironmaster team provides top of the line products along with excellent customer service. The only thing I regret is waiting this long to make my purchase, so don't hesitate if you are building a home gym this is a must!

    Awesome, full-range machine in a small package. I have been working out for years and wanted to add a leg press and smith machine element to my home gym. My space is limited and the Ironmaster 2000 met my specs, particularly that it is multifunctional and can handle serious weight. It and the bench are solid, quality products that have met my needs!

Can I safely train alone with the IM2000 V2?

Yes. Self-spotting is at the heart of the IM2000 V2 design. Lockout holes are positioned just 1.7 in (4.3 cm) apart, allowing you to quickly secure the lifting bar. Heavy-duty springs and secondary safety stops provide additional protection when performing exercises such as presses and squats.

How much space do I need for the IM2000 V2?

The frame measures 48 x 48 x 84.5 in (122 x 122 x 215 cm). We recommend allowing approximately 7 ft wide x 5-6 ft deep (213 x 152-183 cm) of workout space and a ceiling height of at least 87 in (221 cm) for assembly clearance and use. Additional ceiling height may be required when using certain optional attachments, including the Ultimate Chin Up.

What weight plates are compatible?

The lifting bar includes removable Olympic sleeve adapters, while the plate holders feature removable 2 in Olympic sleeves. This allows the IM2000 V2 to accommodate Olympic plates or standard 1 in weight plates when the relevant sleeves or adapters are removed.

How much does the lifting bar weigh?

The lifting bar weighs approximately 36 lbs (16.3 kg) with the Olympic sleeve adapters installed and approximately 32 lbs (14.5 kg) without them. The bar is 73 in (185 cm) wide, with a 42 in (107 cm) grip area and a 1.25 in (3.2 cm) diameter.

Does the IM2000 V2 require regular lubrication?
