Kettlebells are an amazing addition to your home gym, giving you the opportunity to lift heavy and add some conditioning work. You could actually build an entire strength and fitness routine around kettlebells. Press, push, pull, hinge, swing… kettlebells are so versatile (one reason that they’ve stood the test of time!)

But one traditional problem with kettlebells is that they take up so much space. Not always ideal for a small home gym. After all, every inch of floor space is precious when you want to kit out your perfect training space.

IronmasterUK Kettlebell Specifications

Ironmaster solved the problem with this truly innovative approach to kettlebells. You’ll wonder why nobody thought of this before!

The Ironmaster Quick-Lock Adjustable Kettlebell Handle is a really smart design from the home gym experts at Ironmaster. This system is the culmination of years of research and development, resulting in the most versatile and strongest adjustable kettlebell you can buy for your home gym.

See how it will save you tons of space (and cash) so you can continue to kit out your home gym space with no limitations.

“Built solid for functional heavy duty use/abuse and much more durable than you are. There’s nothing to break or fail and it only takes moments to change anything. Five stars for the Quick-Lock Dumbbells and Kettlebell that I actually own and consider priceless.” – Dwight

If you’ve already got the Ironmaster Quick-Lock Adjustable Dumbbells, you’ll already have an idea of how the Quick-Lock Adjustable Kettlebell works. It gives you all the benefits of a whole row of traditional kettlebells, with just one handle.

Home Gym Kettlebells Up To 80lbs

Here’s how it works. You get one handle, made from high quality steel for long-lasting strength and durability. Then you use our custom-made screw and weight plates to create a heavier home gym kettlebell according to your needs. The locking threads are made from top quality machined steel, so they will withstand decades of tough workouts. Changing the plates is quick and easy (no tools are needed), so it won’t hold you up even if you’re doing a kettlebell ladder or pyramid.

– Step by step images of weight changes –

We know that the feel of a kettlebell is really important. It needs to feel solid and comfortable in the palm of your hand whether you’re doing double-armed work or changing from hand to hand. Ironmaster Quick-Lock Adjustable Kettlebells feel exactly like traditional kettlebells – solid, robust, and comfortingly heavy.

This amazing kettlebell system has been used and reviewed highly by home gym kettlebell users from novices right through to competitive athletes. You’re going to love it as much as they do.

Adjustable Kettlebell System Saves Space In Your Home Gym

The Quick-Lock Adjustable Kettlebell handle itself weighs 22.5 lbs (10.2 kg) empty, which will be enough for some of you. But if you want to go heavier, the handle can accommodate plates taking it right up to 80 lbs (36 kg) with the add-on kit locking screws. With the standard locking screws, it will go up to 57.5 lbs (26 kg).

It takes the same weight plates as our Quick-Lock Dumbbell weight plates and uses the same locking screws which are heavy-duty, made of quality machined steel. So if you’ve already got the Ironmaster adjustable dumbbells, you won’t need anything extra once you’ve got the basic adjustable kettlebell handle. Just one more money saving solution from Ironmaster.

With the locking screw system, it locks up completely tight with no need for tools. You will feel totally confident as you swing, clean, and press this adjustable kettlebell.

IronmasterUK Kettlebell handle on side

Ironmaster have designed the handle ergonomically so it feels great for single handed work and is big enough for two handed work, too. We understand that you might want to do a huge range of exercises with just one kettlebell handle.

Why Choose This Adjustable Kettlebell System?

Quite simply, this innovative kettlebell handle and additional weight plates saves you space and cash when you’re kitting out your home gym. Kettlebells are a great addition to home training, but they will inevitably take up a lot of floor space. Ironmaster Quick-Lock Kettlebell solves that problem. All you need it one main handle, plus a set of weight plates which turn that one handle into as many kettlebells as you need. And the plates also work with our adjustable dumbbells, saving even more space in your gym and your budget.

Amazing Design

Everything about the kettlebell handle and locking system has been designed to make your life easier. You don’t need any tools to change, remove, or add plates on. It’s really fast and easy. And the handle itself feels great whether you’re doing single or two handed work.

“The handle is just the right shape and thickness for both of us. The way the weights are changed is very clever, simple and fast. Even with a lot of weight (well, a lot for us!) the kettlebell feels very secure and indestructible.” – Mr & Mrs H

Space Saver

This one kettlebell handle does away with the need to have a long row of kettlebells taking up floor space in your home gym. The weight plates are the same ones used for our adjustable dumbbells, so if you have both then that’s even more space freed up.

Cost Effective

Have you seen how much kettlebells cost? By replacing an entire set of kettlebells with one handle plus a set of plates, this system is friendly to your home gym budget. With the complete system, you get kettlebells ranging from 22.5 lbs (10.2 kg) to 80 lbs (36 kg) in 2.5lb (1.1 kg) increments. That’s a huge saving on space and cash!

Heavy Duty Kettle Bell

Kettlebells need to withstand hard work and serious workouts. They are the original serious training tool. Ironmaster’s Quick-Lock Kettlebell System is made from solid steel, and backed by a lifetime warranty.

“The Quick-Lock Kettlebell is a perfect addition to my home gym. It’s one solid piece of kit that should take the abuse I’m going to dish it! The Ironmaster is a quickly adjustable kettlebell that still has the same shape and feel of a standard kettlebell. I’ll definitely be ordering a second one!” – Derrick T.

Exercises to try with your Adjustable Kettlebell

IronmasterUK Quadriceps

Goblet Squat

Work your quads with this squat variation. Hold the kettlebell by the horns close to your chest while standing. Squat down, keeping your back straight and your chest and head up. When your hamstrings are on your calves, pause then return to the starting position.

IronmasterUK Hamstring Group

One-Arm Kettlebell Swing

This great compound move focusses on your hamstrings. Your starting position is with one kettlebell between your legs, your butt pushed back, knees bent and back straight. Looking straight ahead, swing the kettlebell forcefully between your legs. Quickly reverse direction and drive through with your hips, taking the kettlebell straight out in front of you. Repeat by letting the kettlebell swing back between your legs.

IronmasterUK Deltoid

One-Arm Kettlebell Push Press

Hit your shoulders by first cleaning the kettlebell to your shoulder. This will be your starting position with your palm facing forward. Keeping your torso upright, bend your knees to dip your body. Immediately reverse direction and drive through your heels to create momentum. At the same time, press the kettlebell overhead upward until your arm is fully extended. Lower the weight to the starting position and repeat.

And these are just a few suggestions!

What Can This Adjustable Kettlebell Handle Do?

There really is no limit with these adjustable kettlebells. Anything you could do with a traditional set of multiple kettlebells. Swing, clean, press, squat, lunge, farmer’s carry, overhead work… whatever your workout demands.

“The Kettlebell is an ancient Russian weapon against weakness” – Pavel Tsatsouline

So be strong and train with kettlebells.

Quick-Lock Kettlebell

36 reviews for Quick-Lock Adjustable Kettlebell Handle

  1. Perfect. I bought one of these about six months ago and have used it extensively along with my Ironmaster dumbbells. My only issue is that I didn’t buy two of them. I will be fixing that soon. I also have the add-on weight kit for the dumbbells, so I have used this handle with no weights, with the short, standard pin, and the long pin. This item can’t go below 22.5 lbs since that’s the weight of the handle itself, but I haven’t had a need for that so far.

  2. Awesome option to pair with the adjustable dumbbells. Kettlebell feels great in your hand and weight is very secure.

My only quibble would be that I didn’t realize the kettlebell didn’t come with an extra screw. I recommend buying a screw so you can do super-sets with the adjustable dumbbells (provided you own those as well).

    Well made product!

  3. Amazing. Totally surpassed my expectations for adjustable DB and KB and gives me more flexibility in my floor program. I am ditching my gym membership because of this set. Now I can do spin cardio and weight training in the comfort of my own home and the convenience factor is huge. I will be purchasing add-ons and additional adjustable DBs so I can setup even more variety in my workout.

  4. Great buy. I bought this directly from the manufacturer and I’m really happy with the purchase. This is solid, the locking pin is secure and it’s easy to use. I can see this lasting a really long time which makes it a great value. The KB is a little large and square so it won’t be the same as using a regular kettlebell and takes a little getting used to–but, since I’m using a home gym this was both a space and money saver. I love it!

  5. Love it…Built solid for functional heavy duty use/abuse and much more durable than you are. There’s nothing to break or fail and it only takes moments to change anything. Somewhere down the road perhaps I may mist the plates with some rustoleum, but I treat iron like iron here. Five stars for the Quick-Lock Dumbbells and Kettlebell that I actually own and consider priceless. Couldn’t tell ya about Ironmaster’s other products aside from their fat grip adapters for the dumbbells that I also love and will never take off.

  6. Best adjustable KB out there! I’ve had this for 2 years now and still looks like it is new. This is the handle only which is 22.5 pounds. The grip with this one is way better than any other KB I’ve used. And I have to say that this one is more much better than the one from powerblock. In fact, the whole set (KB and dumbbells) is better than the ones from powerblock. You can add a lot of weight to it if you have the long screws they sell but honestly for the average joe this alone would do.

  7. Worth it. If you are considering purchasing kettlebells, give this a look. The handle is well-made, with a wide, comfortable handle you can grip easily with both hands. The top is rounded, and tapers into the loadable plates to avoid irritation of your arms with overhead lifting. Locks up securely, so you can swing away without fear of launching a plate or two at a loved one. Just make sure the locking pin is snug before you hoist it. This is the handle only, if you do not already own Ironmaster plates and a locking pin, you will need to purchase those also. Weight ranges from 22.5 lbs with the handle alone, to 57.5 lbs fully-loaded. Purchase an extended locking pin and you can load the handle to 80 lbs. If you are into kettlebell training, and need more than 2-3 different weights, this is a great choice. I tried the Powerblock and Stamina versions of adjustable kb’s, and they just seemed more cumbersome and flimsy. After a month of regular use, I am still happy with the purchase.

  8. So Easy To Use This is really a great product. We bought these for our gym and having the adjustable capabilities allows us to save space and money in the end (we use to have a bunch of different kettlebells). Shipping was quick too. I would definitely recommend.

  12. Both my wife and I have enjoyed using the Ironmaster Quicklock dumbbell for the past year. We wanted to buy a few other pieces of Ironmaster home gym equipment, so looked on the Valley Fitness website (it looks great BTW!). Whilst here, we thought we’d leave a review. The handle is just the right shape and thickness for both of us. The way the weights are changed is very cleaver, simple and fast. Even with a lot of weight (well, a lot for us!) the kettlebell fells very secure and indestructible – I do drop it from time to time. If you have any questions then email Valley Fitness – they are very good at getting back to you fast and they are honest and helpful.

  13. Bought one of these great adjustable kettlebells after seeing them in Muscle & Fitness magazine. I’d been looking at others, but they were either expensive or looked like they’d fall apart easily. I needed a kettlebell that I could change the weight quickly and I wanted it to feel like a normal kettlebell. These seem just right. I really can’t stress how good the build quality of this kettlebell is! I’m very happy and I know some of my friends will be purchasing one shortly :0)

  14. The Quick-Lock Kettlebell is a perfect addition to my home gym. It’s one solid piece of kit that should take the abuse I’m going to dish it! The Ironmaster is a quickly adjustable kettlebell that still has the same shape and feel of a standard kettlebell. I’ll definitely be ordering a second one! Valley Fitness were also a joy to deal with and their help and communication was faultless.

  15. I recently purchased the Quick-lock Dumbbells and Bench Combo – and thought I would also buy the Kettlebell handle to complement my training. I must say that the product is excellent. I have not really used a Kettlebell before – but after 3 workouts – i am very impressed. The fact that the weight is adjustable with the plates from the dumbbells is excellent. I am very happy with this purchase.

  16. I have just purchased two Ironmaster adjustable kettlebells; this is firstly the only company which stated,” that if I am not happy they would refund my money, no questions asked”. Secondly the quality, durability and ease of assembly of this product has amazed me and being an engineer, looking at mass production and profit margins you most definitely do get a bang for your buck. The reality is that product is expensive but compared to what else is available on the market and the long term durability, ironmaster is a no brainer. Please note this the first ever review I have written, and only because no other product I have used is worthy

  17. Highly recommend this if you already picked up the quicklock dumbbells, possibly even getting 2. Size and spread of the handle is perfect.

  18. Did a workout with them right out of the box and broke up a huge sweat. I’m new to kettlebells so just one of the 22.5 kettlebells was more than enough for a good workout. I got two, looking forward to building up to double kettlebell workouts with 80 pounds. For the amount of space it saves and how much money it would be to purchase 22.5-80 lbs in kettlebells as well as the quaility and look and finally feel – these just made sense to purchase. I got a deal on two 10 pound and 15pound kettlebells just so I could build up and maybe have something to warm up with. I’m Canadian so it was really awesome to get these during the pandemic. I recommend more than 5 stars for them. I also can’t wait to try out the Heavy handle kit on the adjustable dumb bells when they come back in stock. Thanks Ironmaster.

  19. I own two of these. Their made with fine construction. Have a very nice starting weight and handle. I love the fit and finish. They also stack perfectly on the dumbbell stand when it’s full of weights also. There’s enough room for 2. One of each shelve. Even loaded with some plates. They feel great in your hands. The handle is awesome. You wont be disappointed

  20. Fantastic Kettlebell
I’ll be upfront about it — I’m biased. I have a bunch of Ironmaster products and the QL Dumbells are my pride and joy (took me nearly a year of lottery entries to get them!). I also have a full range of standard kettlebells all the way up to “doubtle 88s”. I decided to get these kettlebell handles to compact my gym a little bit as we’ll be moving soon, thinking I would get rid of my “old style” kettle bells — and — I will.

As usual, these Ironmaster handles are great. Beautiful fit and finish. The work well and swing nicely. The handles are finished better than my other kettlebells I have. I will be getting rid of my others.

Wish I could buy more screws and dumbbell handles… hopefully one of these days as the pandemic wanes and the supply chain loosens up a bit.

Kudos to Ironmaster on yet another great product. Love them. Thank you!

  21. I purchased two. So far so good. The handle is a good size and easy to grip. I like that the kettlebell / dumbbells / barbells all use the same plates and screws for easy mixing and matching.

  23. Great Adjustable Kettlebell!
Similar to the Ironmaster dumbbells in terms of giving you the best of both worlds. It’s versatile (22.5-80lb), space-saving, and still has the feel of a regular, fixed weight KB. This is a must for the home gym. Another great product from Ironmaster – thank you!

  24. Just what I needed t increase weight with kettlebells
I have small hands and am a lightweight, but these adjustable kettlebell handles work really well for heavier moves like the deadlift, squat and farmer’s carry.

  25. Awesome Kettlebell
Efficient and smart design. Solid quality, well built and feels strong. It is comfortable to hold, has good balance and feel. The KB (and DB’s) are great for my entire family! From teenagers who are lifting and growing by the week to my wife and myself who are in our 50’s and working on maintaining what we have. I bought one KB handle and will purchase a second at some point. Thank you Ironmaster for creating an elegant and practical solution for the home gym.

  26. Gday folks, in for an 18 month review of these

Would just like to say, I’m not a traditional kettlebell user, I much prefer barbell/dumbbell/cable exercises, however if you don’t have the space for a fixed set of cast iron/competition style kettlebells, or like me only use them once a week or so on a lower body day, then buying into the Ironmaster system is an absolute no brainer to cover all bases

The finish is a nice powder coat that’s held up well so far, I can use my 2.5 and 5lb plates and standard locking screws from my original quick lock dumbbell purchase for things like light/medium kb swings and have plenty of weight variations (every 2.5lbs), but most importantly when going a little heavier for exercises like rows, carries or shrugs (I like to mix it up as its a different centre of gravity), then I can also use the 22.5lb add on plates and the longer add on screws which are nearly half a pound heavier than the standard locking screws.

Also another great thing about the system, it seems pretty accurate, both my Ironmaster kbs came in at 10.2kgs on my scales, which is correct weight. I haven’t weighed all my plates yet, but I had 86lb dumbbells set up (the add on plates and screws and 3 5lbs plates a side), they both came in at 38.9kgs each, or roughly 85.76lbs!!! Absolutely worth paying up for, I will need the heavy handle kit next, so that can expand my IM dumbbells an extra 15lbs out to 136lbs if needed, but most importantly it will leave my dumbbells always loaded at a handy 20lb starting weight (9kgs) if need be.

Feels good and easily adjustable. Very happy.

  28. Great addition to home gym
I am 68 so I don’t use the amount of weight that most people here do. I use this Kettlebell in HIIT workouts and it does the job, pushing me to a higher heart rate and effort while not overloading my heart the way heavy weights can.

Weight is easy to swap out in between sets and exercises and I am exceptionally happy with my purchase. I have used it with and without gloves and still kept a good grip (and I sweat, I never learned how to perspire….)

  29. Great product
This kettle bell handle is great and works perfectly with my existing plates.

  30. Good purchase for home gym
It feels pretty similar to a one-piece kettlebell until you get to 60-70+ pounds, at which the increasing length of the adjustable bell makes movements like cleans and snatches a little bit odd. Still feels fine for presses and swings at the higher weights. The handle itself feels bomb-proof. The screw mechanism stays put.

Great idea for home gym to save space on multiple sets of bells. Overall cost probably less than if you were going to get more than 2-3 fixed-weight kettlebells. If you already have the dumbbells from ironmaster, this would add a ton of exercise options to your routine with minimal additional space concerns and at a pretty solid price. Even alone it’s a pretty good value.

  31. Great Kettlebell!
I’m very happy with my purchase of the Ironmaster kettlebell. It’s a 5 star in my opinion. The review from Cameron dated 6/17/22 summarizes my impressions very well. To expand on what was already said about the bombproof handle, I’ll note that it is very comfortably sized. I wear an XL in men’s gloves and have plenty of space for exercises requiring a two hand grip.I had an issue with another product and it was handled promptly and professionally. I felt like I was dealing with a company that values its customers.

  32. Great workout
Never used a regular kettlebell so I don’t have anything to compare it to but these feel great. Not worried about the plates flying off when they are locked in. I bought 2 and can easily do double swings.

  33. Solid-est Adjustable Kettlebell
Another Solid piece of equipment from Iron Master. Adjustable weight with no “jingle” is what makes Iron master the best, IMO. The square base takes up a little more real estate than a regular round-ish bell, but the fact that you can adjust the weight more than makes up for it.

    5 out of 5
  34. Thanks Waiting List!
Great design. Really have liked my Ironmaster kettlebell these last few years, but its been so lonely. Finally was able to get a buddy for my elder kettlebell when I got the wait list email.

  35. Great first kettlebell
I’ve never used or owned a kettlebell before, but I’m super happy with the quick-lock kettlebell. I bought the quick-lock dumbbells a while back and loved them, so I got the kettlebell too. The lock is nice and snug and none of the weights jingle. I’m not worried about the weights flying off at all. I wish it came with its own screw lock though. Besides that, I’m super happy with the product.
